Véronique Perruchon
Professor of Performing Arts
After starting out professionally as a lighting designer, Véronique Perruchon became interested in the spectacular field of theatre and staging in a thesis – André Engel Œuvre théâtrale, dir. G. Banu, published by Presses universitaires du Septentrion (2018). Professor of Performing Arts at the University of Lille and member of the Centre d’Études des Arts Contemporains (CEAC-ULR 3587), she has been directing the international research programme LdS “Lumiere de Spectacle” since 2017. A framework in which she deploys interdisciplinary research projects, including the ANR SceALED dedicated to LED and the LuNAt Structuring Project, dedicated to natural light. Two aspects of the ecological question worked on with professionals in the performing arts, physicists, and other fields of the SHS. In 2016, she published the reference work: Noir. Lumière et théâtralité (Black. Light and Theatricality) with PUS, tranlated in Basil (Bleacaute. Luz e téâtralidade, 2023).
